Our vision is to have the courage to shape a better future for homeless people
Accommodation that inspires optimism:
All our properties must meet legal standards and be attractive to residents. We use the government-approved Housing Health & Safety Rating System. We carry out regular health and safety checks to make sure that properties remain in good condition.
We want people to be safe and feel secure. We make sure that properties are in suitable locations and that all residents have their own secure room. Where people share, we assess and manage any risks to keep each person safe. Staff will help anyone who feels unsafe.
Our properties are furnished with the essentials. Every property is clean and tidy before each new resident moves in. We want people to feel that the property is their home. Residents can stay in our property for as long as they need it.
We believe in people, and support residents to learn all that they need to so that they can live independently in their home and develop their confidence and skills. Staff are on hand to help, and we have a 24/7 on-call phone and text line.
We recognise that everyone is a whole person and an individual. We run specific projects to help people to be healthy, to move forward into education, training, volunteering and employment and to be part of the community.
Together it's achievable
We can't do it on our own and we work with others
Everyone should be ambitious and have a grand vision for themselves
We appreciate our staff, volunteers and residents
Try new ideas and be flexible
We aren't afraid to try and fail
Cut through barriers and open doors
We see possibilities, reach out to all and listen
We are open and honest and aim to keep our promises
